Position Summary
The Web Interaction Designer will play a key role in designing end-user interfaces that improve usability and promote user experience consistency across Citrix web properties. Position will work with web producers to design low and high fidelity user interfaces to help stakeholders and developers visualize requirements for new and existing web applications. Using creativity, innovation and best practices, the Web Interaction Designer will play a key role in developing intuitive and engaging online user experiences.

Organization
The Web Interaction Designer reports to the Director of Web Services. The Web Services group consists of several agile development teams that include web architects, front/back-end developers, quality assurance engineers, operations specialists, and web producers.

Objectives
create pixel perfect hi-fi implementations of your designs to be used by front-end developers
create consensus among diverse stakeholders - around your designs 
defend your design decisions with well-structured arguments 
work creatively within the constructs of corporate design guidelines 
well versed in UX best practices but also know when and when not to apply them 
accurately estimate and manage your time across multiple concurrent projects 
familiar/comfortable with the iterative design/development process (scrum)

Ideal Candidate
is passionate about great user experience with an exceptional eye for detail 
is a rock star with the Adobe Creative Suite (photoshop, illustrator) 
is a first-rate team player with excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills 
is not a coder but has a deep understanding of modern web technologies – their power and limitations 
can provide a portfolio of sites designed 
earned a bachelors degree (in Design, HCI or related field) and at least 2 years of related experience working in interactive design (preferably web)
