My client, a household name insurance group have a fabulous role based in York for a passionate User Experience Architect.
The User Experience team is small and agile. They have real scope to be creative, and are genuinely empowered to change things for the better.
You will be working closely with internal digital teams and internal stakeholders to help define business and user requirements and translate these into affective designs solutions.

What you’ll be doing?
My client wants to stretch the boundaries and deliver an exceptional User Experience across all of its products and services. You will play a central role in realising this goal.
Working across multiple products, you will be required to conduct a range of qualitative and quantitative User Experience techniques spanning the entire UCD lifecycle. Some of these include upfront business requirements gathering / user research activities / data analysis/findings consolidation / personas and use-cases / information architecture / prototyping / wireframing / usability testing / user experience benchmarking.
Who should apply?
A mid-weight User Experience professional with proven experience of conducting the above activities in a commercial context.
You must also:
- Be qualified to degree level or above in HCI, Interaction Design or something similar.
- Ideally have experience working in the financial services sector
- Have at least two years client-side or agency experience
- Have exceptional communication and presentation skills
- Be comfortable operating User Experience design services including Axure, Morae and OmniGraffle etc.
