UI / UX Designer for Disruptive Retail Technology Startup - Boston, MA. $1000 referral reward!

Walden's client company just received Series A funding and are poised to execute quickly. Their application is brilliant and will disrupt current retail commerce technologies as we know it.

They seek a UI / UX Designer who is willing to work hard and keep up with their rapid launch cycles. You will be designing interfaces for both client company-facing web applications as well as mobile user applications. They want you to be the best in both worlds!

The IDEAL CANDIDATE will have a Web 2.0 style, be knowledgeable in UX, and have prior experience with designing for the mobile platform.

Qualifications (NOT ALL REQUIRED):

Proven track record in creative UI design (including a strong portfolio

Web design experience including an understanding of HTML, Javascript, CSS, XML,

Ability to render gorgeous visuals (including the ability to efficiently use Adobe
Photoshop and Illustrator)

Understanding of "Web 2.0" principles

Interest in mobile applications, retail, data mining/analysis, and/or technology

Ability to operate in a fast‐growing, entrepreneurial start‐up environment

Ability to work hard and have a lot of fun at the same time

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

Team‐first mentality

Ability to be flexible and work independently

Candidates must have current work authorization in the US. This client will not sponsor visa candidates. Candidates should live in the Boston area.
