As our Strategy Planning Manager for Digital Sport, you will be a critical member of the Nike team focused on creating digitally enabled products, services, and experiences that help athletes get better. This organization manages signature services such as Nike Plus while exploring emerging opportunities in sport.
 
In this role, you will support the Director of Planning and Operations in the execution of the overall Strategic Plan while helping to ensure that our group delivers innovative experiences to the consumer on-time and in a world-class manner.
 
As part of the innovation process, you will partner with the digital service teams to develop the strategic plan for the sport verticals and monitor the overall experience roadmap. You will also conduct market research and develop sound business cases that leverage financial and quantitative analyses of relevant data/information to ensure that we are investing in the highest return opportunities.
 
In addition, you will work with internal teams spanning engineering, digital services, and information technology, driving consistent and standard project management processes across the organization.  You will facilitate the execution of project plans for our priority initiatives while also organizing and managing tactical meetings as part of the development and go-to-market processes.
 
Finally, you will also lead the development and ongoing management of reporting mechanisms to review the business and monitor our progress against brand and business metrics, while preparing and presenting regular status updates to the leadership teams.

 

Qualifications

·         Bachelor’s degree (business, finance, engineering, or similar), ***Master’s degree (MS, MBA, or other) is preferred

·         6 years total experience in management or technology consulting, strategic planning, new business development, product   management/marketing, or related fields.

·         2 years business experience in the technology or consumer electronics industry or a related field.

·         Must be incredibly proactive, a self-starter, and willing to roll up your sleeves and do what is necessary.

·         Proven ability to lead, influence, and interact with cross-functional teams.

·         Track record of multi-tasking and effectively managing multiple projects simultaneously from start to finish.

·         Ability to think and act both strategically and tactically.

·         Strong analytical, financial and quantitative skills; ability to use data and metrics to drive recommendations.

·         Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to clearly communicate with both business and technical audiences.

·         Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project; Mac and Keynote skills also desirable.

·         Ability to pass a background check
