The Financial Services GBU is responsible for driving industry applications development for Banking, Wealth Management and Capital Markets. 

As a member of the FS-GBU product management team you’ll be responsible for overseeing User Experience (UX) activities, managing and facilitating UX work across high priority financial services projects and working as a virtual member of Oracle's Fusion UX team to ensure alignment, consistency and prioritization of project resources.

Job Description:

·         Manage group of UX experience professionals organized into sub-teams, within a large product or a product pillar

·         Delegate direct technical leadership to IC principal level team leads

·          Mentor team leads

·         Audit quality of team deliverables, through peer and management review processes

·         Drive integration of UX processes into product division release plans and processes

·         Promote and facilitate UI patent submissions

·         Review designs for opportunities to integrate UI innovations and facilitates uptake with development teams

·          Manage multiple UI teams spanning several product lines

·         Prioritize projects in conjunction with upper management and leads changes in UI design direction accordingly.

·         Drive cross-product integration and consistency through communication between groups and with developers

·         Manage relationships with first level VPs

·         Work with lab management to develop and maintain correct infrastructure for pillar groups to be most effective in UX activities

Preferred Requirements:

·         Possess 12+ years experience in development of user experiences for software products which is preferred

·         Possess M.S. or Ph.D. degree in HCI, Psychology, CS, or Design which is preferred

·         Demonstrate 3-5 years as a manager in UI Design or Usability, plus experience as an individual contributor and technical lead to product development of UX

·         Demonstrate success and leadership in application of UCD process for suites of shipping products

·          Demonstrate graphics, interaction design and knowledge of industry standard guidelines and principles

·         Perform usability requirements gathering and evaluation methods

·          Possess knowledge of software development process at Oracle

·         Possess product knowledge sufficient to demonstrate and access build state of products

·         Demonstrate business knowledge of specific Oracle product domain and competitors
