The Financial Services GBU is responsible for driving industry applications development for Banking, Wealth Management and Capital Markets. 

As a member of the FS-GBU product management team you’ll report to the FS-GBU UX manager and you will synthesize User Experience (UX) needs and develop solutions.  You will work with other product managers on high priority financial services projects to create UX solutions from the specifications and guidelines developed by the FS-GBU and Fusion FX teams. 

Job Description:

• Analyze, design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for commercial or end user applications
• Write code, complete programming and perform testing and debugging of applications

·         Create UI prototypes, UI models and/or UI standards for one large or several small products

·         Write UI style guides, design direction white papers, and/or whole product UI

·         Maintain and communicate design plan for one or more products as team lead

·         Contribute design solutions to usability reports

·         Contribute to planning and execution of customer research activities (site visits, surveys, focus groups)

·         Review product designs for compliance with corporate UI standards

• Educate development, product management and strategy about UCD principles and deliverables
•  Present at industry conferences or contribute papers to professional publications.
•  Work independently with members of product management, strategy and development on the design of one or more products
• Maintain project plans, schedules and status independently
• Lead cross-functional team meetings
• Receive biweekly supervision
• Mentor junior staff
• Supervise contractors and interns as necessary
• Demonstrate mature and responsible attitude to all aspects of assigned position
• Exercise flexibility and adaptability towards achieving the overall objectives of the group/division

Preferred Requirements:

• Possess 4-5 years experience which is required, while 4-8 years work experience is preferred
• Possess B.A. or M.A. degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field
• Understand root causes of UI problems and propose solutions at the product level
• Understand GUI standards
• Understand UI design principles
• Understand UCD process
• Demonstrate use of UI design tools
