Description: 

PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
LoB HR is responsible for SAP’s Solutions covering the needs that organizations have in the
area of Human Resources (HR) or Human Capital Management (HCM).
We are looking for Solution Owners for each of the key process (end2end) scenarios that
contribute to an organization being able to find, retain and develop the Best People and Talent.
The Solution Owner is accountable for the solution strategy related to an end2end-scenario thus
ensuring successful and profitable delivery of solutions to our customers. He or She will be
responsible for SAPs profitable growth in revenue and market share by addressing the key
business processes needed by HR organizations within our customer base. He or She
orchestrates and optimizes the Idea to Close (I2C) process across SAP within this solution area.
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
Define solution, incl. improvement of existing Ones
Create business case incl. the Market Requirements Document (MRD) and gather input for
business case
Defend business case as part of solution portfolio
Contribute to, check and agree to product/release backlog, as well as to changes that impact
solution requirements throughout the Product Creation Process
Provide feedback regarding solution to (Chief) Product Owner after each takt
Orchestrate the end-to-end idea-to-close process and validate the results
Coordinate the bundling/combination of services, software and content to be sold as
Productized Solution Packages (PSP’s)
Collaborate with stakeholders/contributors on solution level throughout the complete process,
e.g. other Solution Owners, Field, Product Owners, customers, GTM manager, services
manager
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
Mindset of a Business Owner and General Manager
Holistic view on Software, Service, GTM, Eco-System and Competition
Willingness and ability to lead and execute
Solid domain expertise gained within Human Resources, Solution Management, Field
Services, Solution Marketing or Analyst/Partner Community
Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills
