The Senior Interactive Project Manager is responsible for business development, project planning, client relations,
and management of internal teams and external vendors with a focus on technology partners.
The position is accountable for the successful delivery of projects on time and within budget,
while exceeding client expectations. The Senior Interactive Project Manager shares responsibility for the quality
of subsequent deliverables with the Creative Lead and respective discipline leads.


• Act as the main point of contact between the studio and the client; develop a strong understanding of their
needs and dynamics
• Lead new business opportunities and identify opportunities to secure additional projects with existing clients
• Carry projects from conception to completion with multidisciplinary, internal and external teams
• Assign, monitor, and guide workflow; set daily, weekly, and long-term project goals
• Oversee the project budget and timeline; track variance from the project bid and adjust accordingly
• Manage integration of third-party technical partners with internal team
• Take detailed meeting notes, and organize project files in multiple environments for teams to access
• Maintain the integrity of Hot Studio’s process; ensure that deliverables adhere to established standards
• Provide leadership that encourages team enthusiasm and innovation

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Excellent estimating, scheduling, and budgeting skills
• Strong understanding of information architecture and user-centered design, emerging web technologies,
and CMS options
• Demonstrated proficiency in Mac and PC, as well as core applications including MS Project, Word and Excel,
Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Acrobat, and InDesign. Experience with Basecamp is a plus
• Ability to communicate effectively with user experience architects, visual designers, and engineers
• Superior presentation, oral, and written communication skills
• Excellent team-building, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills
• Enthusiasm and positive attitude

Relevant Experience

• Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget
• Minimum of 3 years (mid-level) or 7 years (senior-level) experience managing both large- and small- scale
interactive and/or web projects is required
• Experience with brand and/or print projects is a plus
• Minimum of 2 years (mid-level) or 5 years (senior-level) leading large, multi-disciplinary teams
• Minimum of 2 years (mid-level) or 4 years (senior-level) client leadership experience
• Agency experience serving in a project management role is preferred
