 SKILLS YOU’LL NEED


·         Leads Interaction Design with deliverables such as use case scenarios, task flow analysis, sitemaps, wireframes and UI element design.

·         Must have strong background in usability patterns and style guides.

·         Acts as the mediator between user needs, business objectives and technical feasibility.

·         Translates usability and user research findings into tangible design.

·         Communicates design recommendations and rationale to key stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

·         Collaborates with product teams to develop cross-product solutions across company and possesses the ability to work well in a user-centered agile design process.

·         Contributes to a culture of innovation and teamwork.

·         Must have at least 5 years experience as a key member of an Interaction Designer team participating in the complete product development life-cycle of successfully launched consumer and business software products.

·         Possesses strong analytical skills, written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills.

·         Must have strong empathic skills: understands how and why an interface succeeds or fails and can spot possible problems in flow, layout, copy or presentation before they go into production.

·         Values strong visual design and pays fanatical attention to the details that make the difference between a mundane and a delightful user experience.

·         Possess the ability to quickly understand the constraints of a design problem, identify the tradeoffs and communicate them to decision makers and fellow designers.

·         Creates testable paper prototypes and high-fidelity static prototypes.

·         Works independently as well as in teams that span multiple functions and/or departments and works well under pressure.

·         Adheres to critical project timelines in a fast-paced environment.

·         Engages in any software product design project and make a strong positive contribution.

·         Must have College and/or advanced degree(s) in Interaction Design, HCI, Industrial Design, other computer-related design disciplines, Computer Science, or equivalent.
