How to apply:

(Yes, folks...we are looking for a HYBIRD!) Wear a lot of hats? Enjoy the "hybrid" role? Eager to learn while working for an exceptionally tech savvy and innovative company with one of the largest products out there in the information services space? You'll have an experienced and supportive manager ready to help develop your career and work with a creative hands-on team as you plan, research and execute digital product solutions.

This is an ideal opportunity if you are an innovation junkie, interested in mobile, social media, visualization and keeping up with best user experience practices.  You will fit in especially well if you are bent on staying current with trends in the front end technology space and analyzing the value of the "next new thing".  Our client is able to give the right talent the chance to "try everything" and "learn anything" while contributing their best work at the same time.

Contract-to-Hire Information Architect / Interaction Designer. This role requires a diverse set of skills. You will be planning, researching and executing digital product solutions. Our client will be happy with SOME of the skills listed below, with the understanding that their organization is a place to grow into the rest. 100% skill matching is not required, but APTITUDE is. Energy, enthusiasm, desire to grow your career, and a genuine interest in the opportunity to work with an amazing company is what we need here.

Collaborative, CONSULTATIVE, nimble, & flexible, confident, eager to (and able to) learn new skills quickly. Detail oriented. Passionate & excited about your work. You should be eager to advance your skills and have one heck of an interest in current front end technologies as they pertain to the best solutions possible. If you are a professional team player with the ability to learn and collaborate with diverse team and stakeholders, this is the right place for you.

*User Research:
Field research, Focus Groups, Task Analysis, Heuristics

*Information Architecture and Interaction Design:

*Presentation of Information Architecture and Interaction Designs:
Confident and able to back up your design position and understand how to communicate every "why" of your user experience solution. (For example: "why is this new approach important?" and "how does this tie back to our targeted business outcomes or desired user experience?".)

*Visual Design/Aesthetics:
Our client does not need an artist, but someone with a sense of aesthetics and an understanding the importance of visual design and typography as it applies to brand and overall user experience. You'll need an understanding how to use color, typography, proportion, motion / rich media to communicate as you approach design/ communication hierarchy. You should be able to provide some direction regarding your interaction design vision to a visual / graphic designer and support the creation of a style guide.
