Looking for a Visual/Interaction Designer to work for a leading enterprise company in Santa Clara, CA. This individual will be responsible for creating the visual identity of corporate email templates and the visual and interaction design of an online documentation library.

Responsibilities Include

  • Utilize superb visual skills to create thoughtful, clean and crisp visual designs for email templates and websites.
  • Update, refresh and re-invent existing user interface designs and frameworks to enhance the overall user experience including a cross browser friendly experience.
  • Understand wireframes, style guides and business goals to develop visual/interaction designs right on target.
  • Present design concepts to senior management and style guide team members for feedback.
  • Collaborate with onsite and remote teams including: development, style guide, product design and project management teams.

Skills Required

  • 5+ years of visual/interaction design experience, particularly for emails, websites, and information focused systems and/or documentation libraries.
  • Strong foundational knowledge of layout, color, grids, icons, clean typography, proportion, photography, motion/rich media and brand to create elegant, smart solutions and high-quality deliverables.
  • Proven ability to adapt to changing demands and timelines.
  • Must be a creative and collaborative team player.
  • Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Suite, Omnigraffle, and/or Fireworks.
  • A strong portfolio, available for viewing, showing great sense of design, creativity and good communication. Must include strong typography work and clean designs.

  Skills Preferred

  • Strong coding skills in HTML and CSS.
