Global Web Analyst - Global Digital Commerce

As our Global Web Analyst, you'll help lead all reporting and analysis for the Direct-to-Consumer websites and deliver insightful data interpretation to drive marketing strategies and business objectives throughout the organization. You'll assist in setting global standards and best practices across all regions, educating regions on KPIs and interpretation to drive actionable business insights and recommendations. You'll be responsible for developing tools and reports to monitor the key metrics and also synthesize various data from other sources, such as the transactional database. You'll also analyze such data to identify trends and more importantly key insights to help drive and manage the business. You'll contribute to the establishment of a measurement process to ensure continuous program and execution improvement (e.g. launching new nike.com content, online media placement tracking, marketing campaign tracking, etc.). You'll also customize internal web analytics dashboards and reports to meet business objectives and manage to best practices standards. You'll prepare and/or present business presentations to multiple audiences at all levels of the organization on key business metrics and trending.  You'll work with the web analytics team to establish best practices benchmarks for evaluating the effectiveness of the websites and related online activity.  In addition, you'll work with various agencies and producers to provide direction on tagging the online content based upon their business objectives.

 

 

Requirements for this position include: 

·         Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, Statistics or a related field

·         3-5 years' work experience in Direct Marketing, Analytics, Online Marketing or Product Development/Sales in the online analytics space (an additional 2 years' relevant professional experience is accepted in lieu of a degree)

·         1 years' experience in advanced web analytics methodologies such as experimentation and testing, competitive analysis, surveys and market research

·         2 years' experience in using the Microsoft Office suite with very strong Excel and Power Point skills

·         Strong understanding of the online direct-to-consumer business, competitive/business environment and consumer behavior 

·         Demonstrated strategic planning and project management skills

·         Strong understanding of key performance metrics 

·         Strong analytical skills 

·         Experience working with Omniture or one of the major online web analytics software providers

·         Solid web analytics experience including data collection methodologies

·         Extensive knowledge of online marketing tactics and eCommerce business model 

·         Ability to benchmark against industry, competitive and best practice standards 

·         Experience with working in a retail business, e-commerce technologies and/or related operations

·         Exceptional ability to analyze data to provide insights and make recommendations 

·         Experience with Brio, Business Objects and leading online analytics software (Omniture, WebTrends, HitBox, etc.) is preferred
