Should I go to UX Intensive or Cooper's UX Bootcamp

These are both big money items.

Does anyone have experience with either or both?

Trying to decide which one of these to do.

Funding drive - start with the job board?

An idea for generating revenue. I remember being told that the majority of the jobs seen on the IxDA job board come from Coroflot thus are not jobs that have generated posting revenue for IxDA. The idea of paying for jobs is not a bad one but why not do the following:

1) Remove the connection with Coroflot entirely. Do Interaction designers really want to scroll through jobs for handbag designers and product developers to find their ideal job (bear in mind the existence now of several free to post UX specific job boards)?

2) Reduce the fee to make posting more attractive

Can anyone suggest a Masters Program in Human-Computer Interaction in the New York City vicinity?

I would like to get a Masters in Human-Computer Interaction and  live in NYC.

Does anyone have any suggestions for a program in the area?

There is a program at SVA but I am not sure if it is exactly correct.

I would greatly appreciate any help in finding a good program.

Thanks in advance.

The Power of 10 :: Results Are In!

An enthusiastic THANK YOU to all of you who contributed to and helped to promote the IxDA 10th Anniversary pledge drive. Together, we raised $23,600 to support IxDA's current and future initiatives.

IxDA has grown dramatically since our last pledge drive in 2009: our discussion list has exploded by 500% (from 10,000 to 50,000+ members); and the number of local groups has nearly doubled. Today we have 145 groups operating in 40 countries.
