Congratulations to...

I know the rejection letters are out...who had a session accepted for #ixd11?  I want to be happy for someone, instead of just sad for myself.

HFI Training Courses (particularly "Design for the Big")

Just wondering if anyone has been on any training courses run by HFI (Human Factors International) and whether they were any good? I'm particularly interested in the upcoming 'Design for the Big' course. However, with limited training budget and time, I need to be pretty sure of the quality before making the commitment.

Have you been on an HFI training course? If so, which one? Anyone been on the 'Design for the Big' course? Was it any good?

Any insights greatly appreciated.

Re: [IxDA] Axure... Thoughts?

In a similar thread, a new Mac OS X native application called Antetype just started beta testing. From their site[1]:

"ANTETYPE is a brand new, ground-breaking design application that supports user interface designers at every step of their work. Design beautiful interfaces, invent new widgets, style them and put it all together in an interactive prototype!"

I haven't had much time to kick the tires yet, so I'll hold my thoughts for now.
