Workflow and Portfolio/Inspirations

Hey folks - I've been searching for some nice interaction design work and portfolios so that I can improve mine - I'm not having a heck of a lot of luck finding nice, quality stuff out there. I'm wondering if we can start a thread that links to our portfolio or other people's work we enjoy or inspire us?

I'm curious what programs people use... I recently saw a demo on Adobe Encore and what an amazing job of creating something interactive that can do. I'm wondering if I should invest the time to learn it.

What are your resources?

Re: [IxDA] How do you scale great UI design?

Russ,

I really like Chauncey's ideas, but I would perhaps shift the focus about 45 degrees off this axis. It has always been my experience that the best carrier of ideas such as how to do great UI design is people. Therefore I would focus on things that would spread good people around and let them transfer their knowledge and inspiration.

Matrix management is supposed to do this - works better or worse depending on company culture I find.

Workshops, tiger teams, and mentoring are all well-tested methods for increasing close collaboration.

Has anyone done a heuristic or usability tests on a wiki?

I am working on a study now to identify areas for improvement.

I am using standard usability heuristics, with a few more points of my own choosing to add more to the web 2.0 aspect.

A few things that keep cropping up are:

Hello IXDA folks,

I just finished a post titled "10 Design Principles for eReader Apps" which may be of interest.  I've also put together a screen-by-screen UX review of the iBooks, Kindle, and Kobo iPad apps.
