Call for participation; CHI workshop on design for reading

(apologies if you receive more than one copy of this message)

I would like to ask you to consider participating in the "Design to read"
workshop at CHI 2010.

We are want to bring together practitioners and researchers who work with
audiences who do not read easily, and also people who themselves have
encountered difficulties with reading.

We aim to find out more about each others' work, and also to tackle the
question of whether one approach to design can work for all of our audiences
- or do we need to design differently for different groups?

BEYOND WIREFRAMES AND BEHAVIORS:
Public and Participatory Interaction Design

Socially responsible design has become a catch-phrase in the design
community. But what is the role of interaction design in working
towards "socially responsible" ends such as advocacy, technology

FAQ Search Tool

Hello everybody,

I am doing some research into FAQ search tools 'best practice' and
am struggling to find research material that covers this. Does
anybody know of any research that covers presenting FAQ's
alternatively by category and most popular and establishes which
method is more effective and in what situations this is the case?

Also would be great if anybody has any personal experiences and / or
opinions regarding this issue.

Please send links of any good FAQ search tools you can think of.

Thanks!

Daniel.

Best Practices and Examples of Site Redirection (with sponsors messages)

Hi,

I am wondering if anyone here have a good lead to best practices and
examples of site redirection (with sponsors messages). More often than not,
they prove to be pretty annoying but I am hoping to learn some best
practices available.

Any help will be very much appreciated.

Cheers,
Howie
