This is our process, need your input

This has been on my mind a lot lately. I feel like our process is
very fast and accomplishes the right things, but I don't have much
to compare it to. It'd really mean a lot to me to know your
company's design process and to gather any feedback you have on the
process I outline below. I'm looking for ways to improve what we
do.

So here's how we do design at onegreatfamily.com:

We are a small company, we have 8 developers. We consider ourselves
an "Agile/Scrum" shop. We have 2 designers, one assigned to the
windows app and one assigned to the website.

[EVENT] Maine IxDA Thurs. September 24 - From Inspiration to Art: Artist Talk and Design Activity

Nationally recognized artist, Adriane Herman, will be presenting Thurs
Sept 24th on her creative process -- how she moves from inspiration to
art. She'll touch on using people's "To Do" lists as artistic
medium, and her insights into human cognitive processes.

Afterward we'll shift gears into IxD mode, taking what we've heard
from Adriane -- now having a sense of her mental map -- do some
additional "requirements gathering," then sketch ideas for her web
site, and discuss!!

We hope you can attend -- this will be an extremely stimulating and
fun event.
