Free mobile design template

Steven Hoober just published our updated mobile design template.

http://bit.ly/1njw6 which points to
http://www.littlespringsdesign.com/blog/blog/2009/08/24/more-templates-for-everyone/

It is, of course, a work in progress.

We don't make consumer products, hence no need for a User Centered Design development process.

Time and time again I am being told that a user centered design
development process isn't needed in our company since we do not make
consumer products.

Yet we make web interfaces for them to use, we create billions of
features for them to use etc.

A manager said last week: "We are a technology driven corporation
and that is why we are so successful".

How do you make sure your design gets implementedright?

Martin -

My slightly controversial view is that this cannot be prevented. That is
why it is important that implementers understand about the need for
user-centred design.

How do you make sure your design gets implemented right?

Hi folks,

You have finished your design. You have shown it to stakeholders and
developers and it has been approved. Now the developers get to work
implementing it.

But then a few weeks down the line, out pops a pre-production version of the
product that looks and behaves somewhat differently than specified in your
design.

shopping.rediff.com - too much simplicity?

Rediff, one of the leading portals in India recently underwent an entire
redesign focusing on simplicity. But I guess it did the worse thing to their
online shopping site.

Can anyone locate "Womens ear rings" in their categories page?
http://shopping.rediff.com/categories

The old site was way better compared to the new site. The old site had the
traditional approach and it was reasonably easy to navigate and shop around.
