all small or add caps?

I am working on rebranding and a new logo for my company. I have been
considering using all small letters. Today, I had a discussion with a
designer more visual than I, who sad that using caps at the beginning of
words is more memorable - but many of his examples included drive by's --
seeing the logo on trucks or billboards. Being in design research/ux, I
don't really envision my company name on a billboard or truck any time
soon.
Does anyone have experience or thoughts on all small vs. caps?

What is a Landing Page?

> I'm curious what your feelings are regarding what a landing page is

I think Wikipedia's somehow right when defining a "landing page",
<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Landing_page>. (Skipping my own thoughts
for now.)

Experience Definition

Hi

What is your definition of an experience?

What make your design unique, is it its experience??

And does interaction enhance an experience or alienate the user if used
repetitively?

Here is my definition of an experience

Experience = [(<New perception of designed things by body or mind > -
memory) + (Soul × emotions)]/ Time

What do you think?

working with kids/teenagers?

Hi,

Does anyone have experience in working with kids/teenagers aged 10-18? Any
pointers on the best methods to use to get them interested in the process,
understand their world and maybe involve them in idea generation?
Our project is in Malmö, Sweden, but I guess knowledge from some other areas
could apply.

Thanks!

Testing and feedback from only one person

I'm currently writing my master thesis on visualisation of
positioning data. The thesis is written for a hospital here in
Norway, and my challenge is that there is only one interested party -
a nurse who works at the hospital and who has a high responisibility
to make sure that patients and doctors are at their expected location
at the expected time.

When reading litterature about participatory design I only find
examples where a larger number of persons would take advantage of the
product being developed.

User Testing and Recruiting Advice

Vicki - Some recommended bast practices for participant recruitment
and retention:

-Expect a 25% cancellation/no-show rate. So for every four slots you
need to fill, you need to recruit 5 people. You can schedule extra
slots or use "floaters" -- people scheduled to serve as
substitutes overlapping with specific time slots. If you're running
ahead of schedule you can include the floaters as well.

-Remind recruited participants ahead of time (week before, then day
before).
