[Event] Chicago IxDA --Topic: Cultural Probes --Wed Sep 10th

Hello fellow Chicagoans,

Please join us on Wednesday, Sep 10th for our next Chicago IxDA gathering!

Polly Greathouse will be presenting a talk on remote research titled

from a distance adds value to research. Businesses, design planners and
product designers hunger for revelations about what people really do and why

Gradual Engagement / Best practices for Sign-Ups (seen in the wild)

Yahoo AD program used one. But the thing is completely spoiled by
inability to continue unless you add some money to account :(

Luke has also collected some examples in the book you've already
mentioned.

Best in class for Web UI design for a new concept

I have a client who is asking for examples of good interface design
for new concepts. Some I like are Zipcar, Pandora, and the iPhone. I
thought it would be good to ask the rest of the design community.
What do you think?

User recruitment company in NYC?

Can anyone suggest a good user recruitment company in NYC?

We are looking to recruit for some one-hour usability lab sessions. We would
like to choose from a few providers.

We will be based in UK during recruitment and travelling to NYC for the
sessions.

Thanks

Matt
