The Concept of patent Discussion

Although I realize this may be too little, too late, since I already
posted info about the issues of patents in general...Let me caution
everyone that while you may believe that discussing patents is not an
issue for you -- There is no way to predict whether it may become an

dig into your past discussions ...and in that case it's too late for
all of us.

what would you call this, a submenu, subtab, or something else?

Apologies if this has been discussed before, but I couldn't find
anything related in the archives. I checked my Designing Interfaces

iRise vs. Axure - Community response - Patent-free thread

First, my apologies to Andrei and anyone else who may be affected by having
links to patents in their email. I had NO idea about the impact.

to come up with a plan of action, I'd like to start this new thread. To
anyone taking part in the discussion, please refrain from a discussion of
any patents, posting snippets thereof, or links to patent sites. Thanks!

The purpose of this thread is to discuss not the patent itself or whether
Axure infringed or not, but to discuss our response to this lawsuit as a

Micro-Interactions in a 2.0 World

We live in a world where the little things really do matter. Each
encounter -- no matter how brief -- is a micro interaction which makes
a deposit or withdrawal from our rational and emotional subconscious.
The sum of these interactions and encounters adds up to how we feel
about a particular product, brand or service. Little things. Feelings.

mobile gui menu list style

I've been looking for a section in a mobile or other small screen GUI style
guide about adresses the actual style of menu options

For example, are there any conventions for using "title case - first word is
capitalized" vs "sentence case- just first word " on a small screen vs the
typical larger displays.

Online Inspiration?

I'm working on an online project geared towards designers like us and would
love to know:

Where do you go for inspiration? Ideas? Trends?

Any and all thoughts are so helpful - thank you!

I'll be sure to post a link to the new site when it is live.
