JOB: Senior & Mid-Level Experience Designers, NYC, AKQA, Fulltime - Freelancers also welcome

AKQA is looking for mid-level and senior user experience professionals to join us in New York. You’ll collaborate with designers and developers to build rich, interactive experiences across a diversity of digital media. Anything from large-scale websites and content management systems, to microsites, advertising, mobile phone applications or even event kiosks. User experience is your passion: you can predict and describe user behavior, define business requirements with client teams and are equally at ease sketching with designers as negotiating feature sets with tech teams.

iPhone and Ajax: onpinch(), mac simulator, and Cringely

How the dev community is talking about multi-touch and iPhone gestures.
Just an FYI forward:

Enjoy!

The iPhone Ajax buzz continues. Joe Hewitt (Firebug) writes about the
new multi-touch events that he hopes show up:

I've read lots of people, while arguing for why iPhone web apps are
lame, assert that web apps won't be able to take advantage of the
iPhone's multi-touch screen. This is nonsense.

Multitouch and iPhone - tip of the iceberg?

Interesting post on slashdot today discussing how the iphone may not
work with many rich media/web 2.0 applications because so many rich
behaviors currently assume a single point of focus (the mouse) and
therefore use onMouse events to trigger behaviors.

One sheeter help with persona

Hi folks,

I'm working on a one-sheeter (http://www.iaonesheeters.com/iaonesheeters.asp)
for Personas. I having a bit of trouble writing the "who uses them" section.
Personas can be pretty much used by everyone, from business owners to
marketers to testers. I need a couple of concise paragraphs to suggest that
in an informative way but I keep striking out (must be Friday)! Maybe a
couple of specific examples would help. Anyone have any ideas?

Tom

Umlauts work just fine on the beta.ixda.org the site itself. But it
looks like the forum to mailing list gateway swallowed it.

I didn't see a way to change my user name on beta.ixda.org.
