Looking for info on TV websites...

Hi there:

Does anyone have any good research/referrals to online TV sites ie
RalphLauren TV

http://entertainment.polo.com/rltv/

or BudTV
Www.bud.tv

Basically any portals that hold all video and commercial content for
corporations?

Many Thanks

switchplanet

Is anyone out there using switchplanet.com? it's a great idea, lousy
implementation.

I have a number of complaints/suggestions for IDX improvements, but i'm
curious to hear what other people have to say about it.

Looking forward to your comments.

discuss Digest, Vol 42, Issue 15

FWIW, to add one more data point on this behavior and perhaps cast a
glimmer more light - I too perform various mouse actions, that on
reflection I'd classify as reflexive rather than random, most common
of which is selecting/deselecting text by multiple clicks or click-
drag, but also check/uncheck checkboxes, drag images short distances
(Safari), right-clicking, and probably others I don't notice. Is the
behavior more widespread, or merely confined to [forgive
stereotyping] "neurotic creative types"? (I'd guess fairly common,
10%+) Does it matter?

Due to the timeframe we need this in, I am re-posting. Again, if you know
someone, we'd really appreciate the lead.

Technical Writer

We have an immediate need for an experienced technical writer to work
closely with our software engineering team to develop operations,
administration and installation guides for a suite of complex server

Good examples of IVR, (Interactive voice response), Interaction Design Standards

I'm working on an IVR project and was wondering what were the best
Interaction Standards/ Guidelines which IxD'ers have used, to create
successful IVR solutions.

The IVR project I'm working on comprises many functions for multiple roles,
and is supposed follow standards and be very simple, forgiving and easy to
use, all with touch pad technology.

Others IVR project experience would be interesting to hear, no pun intended
;)

Thanks,

Rich

Designing the user experience of future peripatetic users: new HCI design
challenges in Space

Introduction
Travelling to the depths of Space is no longer a privilege of astronauts and
scientists. Space Agencies are starting to allow those who have the means to
afford it, provided that they fulfil a minimum set of physiological
requirements to join the ventures into outer space.
