Auto Completion of Form Fields

I am working on a client project, where the client is gradually
transitioning forms on their site to use auto completion (w/ AJAX). I
would like to visually signal to users which form fields are auto
completing and which ones are "static". I am wondering if there is a
"pattern" for alerting to users this type of functionality. We can
create something for this client's purpose, but I would like leverage
any convention, if there is already one out there.

deliverables of an IA process?

Hi
What are generally the deliverables of an IA process for a website?

I'll be doing a cluster analysis, then a site structure diagram.
How should I communicate to the rest of the team what the IA is?

Thanks,
Soo

[PLUG] UX Intensive: Advanced Interaction Design Workshop

Back in October, I started a thread on this list about advanced
interaction design topics that people would like to learn more about:

<http://www.howardesign.com/exp/ixd/index.php?post=11977>

Well, we took those topics and distilled them down and came up with
what I think is a pretty interesting day of advanced interaction
design as part of Adaptive Path's UX Intensive Series:

How much did you make last year?

"Christina Brodbeck, a senior user interface designer [for YouTube],
is now worth at least $8.9 million."

organizational tools

Wondering if anyone on this list have experience working with
allClear? It seems like it is very powerful, pretty simple to learn
and might work well on an Intel Mac under Parallels/Windows.

design lifecycle for an extremely high-visibility consumer web
application.

OVERVIEW:
Provide design leadership to product managers, engineers, quality
assurance and customers on a large-scale consumer web application

Collaborative Drawing Tools + Wiki Functionality

Does anybody know of a place where you can create a collaborative
image that is embedded in a wiki?

I.e.
-I draw a couple of points in a graph.
-Annotate them in the wiki space with hyperlinks
-Someone else comes to the space adds new points to the graph
-Annotates it in the wiki space with new hyperlinks

Post to list

E$ -

My team is putting together a presentation on why our company should
engage in user centric design practices. One point we'd like to discuss
is how a UI designed by developers can actually have a negative
financial impact on the company.

Does anyone know of any articles that discuss this issue? \

Thanks,
~jk
