iPhone Feature Request

2007 looks promising... honestly, this is just the beggining (of IxD?!).

Imagine the iPhone (the beta product that will ship in ~2007.06.01) with
dialing as:

iPhone: who?
user-caller: *says aloud the NAME of the called"
user-called: Hi, Aló, ...
<conversation>
(user-caller or user-called): ciao (or anyone other codename)
iPhone: <close conversation>

The TradeMark (...if it matters) may be iPhone OS X, formally "cutting"

Tog on the iPhone

Tog's writes up is an excellent and very comprehensive review on nn/
g that details nearly every feature and its level of evo' vs revo'
originality. He fall just slightly short of making the comparison to
the first personal computer... whatever that was. All the tools and
technology were already in place. It just took someone to put them
together in a coherent, well selected attribute set that has high
utility and put in an affordable package. Revolutionary (?) - only in
the combination and the outcomes, but that is where it counts.
