Triange Mobile Monday meeting

Hi,
I’m pleased to announce that the first Mobile Monday meeting in RTP is taking place on Monday. This is a group of people who are interested in mobile technologies and have wanted to form a local chapter of Mobile Monday, like the MoMo in Silicon Valley and in Finland. The Mobile Monday USA mission is to cultivate and accelerate US mobile and telecom sectors through leadership, technology, government relations, research, education, mentoring, investment, recruitment, networking and promotion.

configurable UI"?
I am currently working on a workflow application where forms, Work flow and
database are configurable.

Mapping Windows Colour Scheme as a colour inMacromedia Flash

Since flash allows CSS support and you may specify these colors in CSS. you
may
try one of these color codes. Known to work in IE and Firefox browsers. Not
sure
if it works within Flash. Do let me know if works for you.

Mapping Windows Colour Scheme as a colour in Macromedia Flash

Hi All,

Has anyone developed any desktop applications that use a flash component
that is senstive to a user changing their Windows XP colour scheme, ie
Blue, Olive, Silver.
We are experimenting with wanting to change the background colour of our
flash interface to the windows colour scheme.

Basically wondering what action script needs to be used to detect the
change.

# of Designers... on the planet.

Where can I find statistics on the global and US population of
Designers.. from architects to product designers to interaction
designers, etc? An intelligent guess maybe the 'answer'. Can anyone
lead me in the right direction? How many people in the world are
involved in some aspect of Design (almost everyone by definition, but
I'm looking for active professionals)? Statistics about the global
population of engineering-centric folks would be equally useful.
