Compare/contrast info on delivery mechanisms

I am wondering if somewhere there exists information (a doc) comparing and
contrasting the customer experience issues around the various options for
delivering software (e.g. pure thin client, rich media interfaces, applet
fat clients, etc, etc). If this does not yet exist I would offer to start
something that we could all contribute to... I find that I am continually
being asked for opinions on these matters in terms of defining strategic
product directions, and the world seems to be changing very quickly as
discussions pop up around things like Ajax, etc.

To inform you all, the venue for discussion within MBT will be:
Room Name: Jupiter
Building: Sharda Center
Floor: 5th Floor

All you need to do is collect your visitors ID card from the security guard sitting at the main entrance and then you will be routed to the Conference room "Jupiter" by receptionist.

What to call IxD?

Hi All:

Picking up on this thread again (think it was being discussed here) another
term for "interaction design" is "intelligent design"

This came out of a discussion over lunch last week with one of our
interaction designers.

Quick tools for 2D Visualizations of data?

Hi,

Towards my thesis, I need to create quick visualizations on the basis of simple datasets relating to project files. The point I hope to make is how the visualization afford more intuitive grasp of the data as compared to text descriptions. This attached view is of files of one particular author, over a certain period of time, & divided along projects.I'd like to create alternate views based on varying parameters such as 'Show most-viewed files' or 'most-edited'.
