That is really, really cool. Hook this thing up to a 3D printer and go wild! Looks tough to learn though - lots of various gestures and "thinking in 3D". It doesn't look like this is available to the public anywhere... maybe some day.

Also, does this give anyone else the feeling that our technology is ultimately going to lead us full circle, back to clay modeling?

Very slick. But I don't see how you can track the depth of your stroke by drawing on a 2D surface. I mean if I draw a line, will that line be in front, behind, or in the middle of all the other lines I have drawn before? Will it make sense to me when I rotate it?

The person drawing in the video seemed to know what they were doing, but I just can't project how I would be so certain if I were doing it...
